For our climate, we recommend insulated steel doors with R-12 or higher (Clopay Gallery, Garaga Standard+, Amarr Hillcrest). They handle freeze-thaw cycles, resist denting, and cut garage heat loss noticeably. For aesthetic homes we also install carriage-house styles and full-view glass. We'll walk through the trade-offs during your estimate.

A single-car door (9' x 7') runs $1,678 to $8,080 installed and a double (16' x 7') runs $2,456 to $13,081, depending on the collection, insulation level, windows and hardware.
